An idea that needed finishing.

One watchmaker got there in 1962, but winding dragged the bezel with it, and the industry settled for a second crown. Sixty years later, we picked it back up and finished the job.

Kintao Chapter 1 — case flank, the wave into the lug

A watch like this normally wears its controls on the outside: a ring on the front, or a second crown on the flank. The C1 has neither, so the front stays dial and the side runs unbroken from lug to lug. The clutch underneath is what pays for that.
